Happy New Year Everyone!!! Its a fresh new year and decade. I'm so excited for 2010. Its going to be a very busy but very exciting year. to start it off I've been busy completing artworks to show at my next showing which will be the week of January 30th--February 6th at T Bar M Racquet Club in Dallas, Texas. I will be the featured artist at the 2010 Men's Pro Indoor Tennis Challenger Tournament. I designed the tournament's t-shirt graphics and will be setting up an art booth to showcase and sell my artwork. I'll be showcasing greeting cards, original paintings, and giclée prints on canvas. These unique works of art are perfect for jazzing up a room in your home, and make great birthday or Valentines gifts! So if you are looking for evening entertainment in Dallas stop by the Challenger to watch some incredible men's professional tennis and check out my latest artworks. And just between you and me I heard a rumor that the gorgeous Mark Philippoussis might be playing at the Challenger this year which is all the more reason to stop by.
Along with continuing to produce and sell my fine art paintings, drawings, and some graphic design I am headed back to school this January to study Animation and Media Arts at the Art Institute of Dallas. My dream and goal is to become an Animator for companies like Dreamworks or Pixar where I can brainstorm and work with other talented artists to create intriguing characters and environments for animated films. So basically my goal is to have two art careers going simultaneously.
I'm sure there will be more exciting art events coming up for 2010, but for now I think this should be enough to keep me pretty preoccupied for a while. Best Wishes for the New Year!!!
